Wet baby

This is a picture of my poor wet baby. And this is how it happend.

I was on the phone last night when Karlie came in the room pulling Natalie behind her. Our conversation went a little something like this.

"Mom, look at Natalie".
"Why is your sister all wet? Did you squirt her with the squirt bottle again?"
"No"
"Did you dump your water bottle on her?"
"No"
"Well, how did she get all wet?"
"I used my mouth!"
"WHAT?"

Ewe so gross!

Weekend fun

The girls had fun at the park!

Karlie participated in her first lemonade stand.

And Dustin finally used his fathers day gift card from Lowe's. He came home with a new project. He built him a new wedging table for his studio. He donated his first one that he built to the ceramic students at USU. (Pretty much he left it behind because he didn't like it anymore.) So he is slowly working his way towards setting up his studio and getting some pottery made. Now all he needs is the super expensive Kiln! And glaze... and clay... and shelving. Well, I guess it might be a while before he can get anything made. But at least he has his table!

Beautiful princess

Karlie and I had a conversation the other day that went a little something like this.

Karlie: "Mom, sometimes people eat in their bedroom."
Mom: "Really?"
Karlie: "Can I?"
Mom: "No, we don't eat in our bedrooms."
Karlie: "But they do in the Princess and the pauper movie."
Mom: "That's because she is a princess."
Karlie: ".....But, I am a beautiful princess!"
Mom: "Yes you are Karlie!"

I just love our conversations sometimes!

Boston Massacre

Boston Celtics take the championship winning 131-92!!
It was a perfect way to end it all. With a Blow Out!
My brother's favorite teams for a long time have been the NY Giants and the Celtics. What are the odds? I think he has had a pretty good year! :)

Far faraway

Today our best friends fly to their new home in Ohio. We will miss them so much! Karlie keeps asking if she can go to the park with Rachel. I have to keep reminding her that Rachel moved far faraway. She doesn't want to believe it! We will have a very sad four years without the Crouch's. We hope they visit often and hurry back!!

Picnic

On Friday we were able to steal Dustin from work and take him to lunch. He rarely takes a lunch break or even eats anything decent, so this was a special occasion! We had a great time at the park. I LOVE picnics! Don't I have just the cutest little family!? (And, yes Dustin practically rolls around in the dirt at work! He also likes to start to bottom of his pants on fire when welding!)

The carousel was finally open for the season. Karlie was so excited she could hardly eat her lunch! It was Natalie's first time. She didn't cry, but she was very tense! She kept the same look on her face the whole time. It was really cute! You would think with the way she is, she would stand up on the horse and jump up and down! Maybe next time!
I can't wait for our next picnic in the park!! :)

Monkey

Anyone who has spent time with Natalie, knows what a crazy little climber she is! I cannot keep her feet on the ground. I told Dustin he better get the harness ready. He will have a new rock climbing buddy before he knows it!

The day I took these first pictures, I walked into the girls room and found Natalie on top of the changing table. What the? I put her back on Karlie's bed (that is a whole other climbing adventure) so I could watch her do it. I would have to say, this is her craziest feat yet!

On this day, I took off the high chair tray to wash it. I turned around and Natalie was sitting in the high chair. Huh? I was so surprised! I love her face after she has accomplished a climb. She is so proud!

This was a time I was cooking dinner. Natalie was hungry! I guess this was her way of telling me. She climbed onto the chair, then to the table, and to her high chair!

Last but not least!

On both of these occasions, I heard squealing coming from the other room. Natalie was stuck. Being the wonderful, sweet mother that I am, I ran for my camera! You just never know what this little Monkey will do next!
