And you thought your December was crazy?!

Whew!! Now that all the craziness is over I can sit back and take a deep breath! I am all partied out! Here is a recap of the Thompson family extravaganza!

First we started out with a party for Dustin. He turned the big 30 this year! Some of his family came over for some good food, (if I do say so myself) and fun! (19th)

Look at that cake shine!!

The next morning it was Karlie's birthday party! (20th)

Karlie had a blast at her Gymnastics party! I think all of her friends did too! It was the perfect way to party while it was snowing outside!

Gold medals for all!

Then it was on to a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Birthday! (25th)

The girls LOVED their new kitten! It didn't matter what else they got. They tormented the poor thing all morning! I am surprised it is still alive. Natalie hasn't been so kind to her. She has learned to run when she sees the little one coming!!

Happy Birthday Dustin!

Dustin was hoping to get his present when I had his party, but I made him wait! I think he is excited to play with his new toy! I love it because it is Farm Tough!!

Two days later.... more cake! (27th)

Happy Birthday to my Baby!

I can't believe Natalie is two. Where has all the time gone?

Natalie loved her Elmo live!!

On to our last celebration for the year. (29th)

Happy Birthday to me and my big girl!

I seriously can't believe I have a five year old!
Karlie is so excited to be five because now she can go to Kindergarten!

And she is well on her way! She loves her new Leap Frog Tag!

I absolutely love sharing my birthday with Karlie!

And I love playing with my new toy! Thanks Mr. Thompson :)

Sentimental

Last weekend we fought the cold and the crowds at Temple Square. It is always neat for us to visit at Christmas time. I guess you could say we are quite sentimental about it! Eight years ago on the 9th, Dustin and I went to see the lights together. Little did I know what he was carrying around in his pocket all day! He asked me to marry him that night!
So cliche! (although it was quite perfect!)

We were sitting in this spot when he purposed.
When we were married we took our pictures on those same stairs.
I guess you could say it is our favorite spot at Temple Square.
With our two favorite girls sitting in it!

Beard Cap

Dustin works outside in the freezing cold.

I have found him the perfect hat to keep him warm! (hehe)

He didn't go for it!

What do you think?
